Mark Thorley Design ltd strives to create elegant and affordable designs with a service tailored to suit the client’s brief.
We do not have a ‘house style’ as we believe in the right design to suit the clients brief. We believe good design makes economic sense.
We are very creative & understand the nuts and bolts of the construction industry.
We can either produce a planning & building regulation package and allow you to manage the project yourself or we can be with you all the way & project manager your scheme from conception to completion to turn your scheme into reality.
OUR FEES
We will provide a clear fixed lump sum price for each separate stage so you can have as much or as little assistance as you require. Our quote will show cost for measured Survey, Sketch scheme, Planning permission, Building regulations, Tenders and construction stage if needed. We also understand every client is different so each stage is 'optional' and can stop at any time for those clients who want to be more hands on.
The price will depend on the size of the project, location, complexity, level of our involvement, and how' one-off’ the design will be.

- Single-Storey House Extension: From £1000
- Two-Storey House Extension: From £1500
- Typical House Remodelling From £1500
- New House (Planning Drawings) From £1,500
- New House (Building Regulations ) From £1,500

After we have completed all your Architectural drawings and obtained planning permission and Building regulations approval for you, you will have experienced how we work first hand and will have witnessed our determination in ensuring our client receives the best design for the best price. Our clients have typically saved over 10% on build cost using our Project Management services.
