Mark Thorley Design ltd strives to create elegant and affordable designs with a service tailored to suit the client’s brief. We do not have a ‘house style’ as we believe in the right design to suit the clients brief. We believe good design makes economic sense. Our founder, Mark has over 35 years of experience in the architectural & construction industry and we possess valuable practical and technical skills to carry out the duties of an experienced fully chartered ‘Architectural Technologist’. We are very creative & understand the nuts and bolts of the construction industry. We can either produce a planning & building regulation package and allow you to manage the project yourself or we can be with you all the way & project manager your scheme from conception to completion to turn your scheme into reality.
OUR FEES
Each job is tailored to suit the client's requirements and priced individually. We will offer a fixed lump sum price which will depend on the size of the project, location, complexity, level of our involvement, and how' one-off’ the design will be. No job is too small, the smallest of extensions can be the most inspiring. To produce drawings suitable for planning & building regulations, prices start from:
- Single-Storey House Extension: From £1000
- Two-Storey House Extension: From £1500
- Typical House Remodelling (Subject to Size) From £1500
- New House (Planning Drawings) From £1,500 to App' £3,000
- New House (Building Regulations ) From £1,500 to App' £3,000
OUR PARTNERS
My wife Julia Borodina is a Fine Art Painter with studios in West Yorkshire & Manchester who exhibits nationally & internationally. Aswell as teaching painting for all levels (beginners to Masterclass) Julia also produces bespoke artwork commissions for private clients, businesses, hotels, schools, Restaurants....and so on.
